  Dr. Edgar Luna

  Dr. Luna specializes in general, cosmetic, restorative, and advanced state-of-the-art dentistry. When you choose Diamond Smiles, you get a Hoover, AL dentist who truly cares. Dr. Luna is a graduate of UAB’s School of Dentistry and attended a 2-year residency in Charleston, South Carolina. To better serve his patients, Dr. Luna received further education on cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. This institute is focused on the highest-end cosmetic dentistry. These studies include: Full mouth restoration Advanced Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Occlusal Reconstruction Advanced Implant Restoration And more! Dr. Luna is a national and international speaker and has been honored with a Fellowship Award by the Academy of General Dentistry and was also included in the Consumer’s Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists.” Dr. Luna has been interviewed several times on television, radio stations and with local newspapers. He has had the honor of having his dentistry published in brochures and dental laboratory magazines across the country.” Dr. Luna is a member of the Birmingham District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is the past state chairman for the Council on the New Dentist, whose mission is to help a dental student, or new dentist, with the transition into the profession of dentistry. Dr. Luna enjoys mentoring young dentists and teaching the importance of treating patients as family while providing high-end dentistry. He has been the featured speaker for many dental speaking events and teaches hands-on high-end cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth restoration, and helps with complicated TMJ cases to assist other dental colleagues. Dr. Luna speaks at seminars varying from dental schools to events associated with the American Dental Association.   Dr. Courtney Ringrose

  Dentist

  Dr. Courtney Ringrose is a general dentist in our Hoover office. She strives to provide the highest quality comprehensive dental care to her community through a variety of treatment options and patient education. She is excited to be part of a motivated company and team who helps her to continue learning. Particularly, in continuing education involving the placement and restoration of implants, combined with advancing technology. Outside of the office, Dr. Ringrose enjoys horseback riding, trail running, half-marathons, hunting, fishing, soccer, hiking, scuba diving and spending time with family and friends.

  Dr. Michelle Abouhaidar

  Dentist

  Dr. Michelle Abouhaidar is an Alabama-native who was born and raised in the Birmingham area. She completed her undergraduate studies at UAB and went on to earn her DMD degree from UAB’s School of Dentistry in 2019. After dental school, she continued her education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she completed a General Practice Residency. During her time in Little Rock, Dr. Michelle received advanced training in many areas of general dentistry including endodontics, implantology, treating medically compromised patients, and pediatric dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Michelle serves as an adjunct faculty member at the UAMS General Practice Residency and enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
